Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Best Bluetooth Driver application, its optional Bluetooth driver and this website (together, the “Software”), provided by the operator of bestbluetoothdriver.com (the “Seller”, “we”). By installing or using the Software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install it.
1. License
The Software is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on up to three (3) computers that you own or control, for personal or internal business use.
- Trial. Every feature works for 14 days after the first start without a license key. After that, a key is required to keep using the Software.
- Paid license. A license key is a one-time purchase. It includes all updates of the same major version (1.x). Major upgrades may be offered at a discount.
- Keys. Keys are personal. Do not publish, resell or share them. A key that is found published may be revoked in future versions.
2. What you may not do
- Copy, distribute, rent or sublicense the Software or the license key to third parties.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Software or circumvent its license check, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
- Extract or redistribute the headphone correction database or other data files that ship with the Software.
- Use the Software to violate the rights of others or any applicable law.
3. Bluetooth driver (beta)
The optional Bluetooth audio driver is provided as a beta component for enthusiasts. Installing a kernel-mode driver in Windows driver test mode changes system security settings; you do this at your own discretion. We recommend the beta driver only if you understand what Windows test mode means and how to roll back to the built-in driver. The application and its sound processing do not require the beta driver.
4. Updates
The Software may check this website for a newer version and show a notice. Updates are never installed automatically. You can turn the check off in Settings.
5. Third-party components
The Software contains open-source components listed in the “Third-party components” file available from the About page. Their licenses apply to those components.
6. Trademarks
The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are registered trademarks owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.; we are not affiliated with, endorsed or certified by Bluetooth SIG. Windows is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies. Headphone model names belong to their manufacturers and are used only to identify correction profiles.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Audio processing changes how your devices sound; hearing protection remains your responsibility. Please keep the limiter on and start at moderate volume.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Software is limited to the amount you paid for the license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including data loss or hearing damage caused by excessive volume. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
9. Refunds
See the Refund policy. In short: full refund within 14 days of purchase on request.
10. Termination
The license ends if you breach these terms. On termination you must uninstall the Software. Sections 2, 5 to 8 survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these terms for new versions of the Software. The current version is always published at this address with the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the Seller's country of registration, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Questions: support@bestbluetoothdriver.com.
