Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Short version: the application has no accounts, no telemetry and no analytics. Everything it knows stays on your computer. This page explains the few places where data can flow at all.
1. The application
- No account, no sign-in. The license key is verified offline on your PC. We do not receive a notification when you activate.
- No telemetry or analytics. The app does not send usage data, device names, settings or crash reports anywhere.
- Local files only. Settings, presets and logs are stored under your Windows user profile and in the Windows program-data folder. You can open both folders from the About page and delete them at any time.
- Update check (optional). When enabled, the app requests a small file from this website to learn whether a newer version exists. That request carries the same information as opening a web page: your IP address and the standard browser-style headers. It can be turned off in Settings. Nothing is downloaded or installed without your action.
- Bluetooth driver (beta). The optional driver sends nothing over the network. It talks only to your Bluetooth adapter and headphones.
2. This website
- The site is static. It sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.
- Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser identification, time) for security and error diagnosis. They are rotated and deleted automatically after a short period.
3. Purchases
Payments are handled by an independent payment provider. When you buy a license, the provider processes your payment details under its own privacy policy and passes us the information needed to deliver the key: your e-mail address, the order number and the amount. We keep that purchase record to be able to resend keys, handle refunds and meet accounting obligations, and for nothing else. We never see your card number.
4. Support e-mail
When you write to us, we keep the conversation for as long as needed to help you and to handle a possible refund, then delete it.
5. Your rights
You can ask us what purchase and support data we hold about you, ask for a correction or deletion, or object to processing, by writing to support@bestbluetoothdriver.com. Data we must keep for accounting purposes is retained for the legally required period only.
6. Children
The Software is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes
If we ever add a feature that involves data leaving your PC, this policy will describe it before the feature ships, and the feature will be off by default.
